Representation of the Attorney General's Office for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the Steward Healthcare Corporation Chapter 11 bankruptcy case pending in Houston, Texas. Urbanik LLC, working jointly with the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office and the Office of Pennsylvania Governor, through a team effort, Sharon Regional Medical Center, located in Mercer County, Pennsylvania, was sold to purchaser Tenor Health Foundation. Sharon Regional Medical Center was slated to close in 2025. In light of the sale, the closure of Sharon Regional Medical Center was avoided. The medical center is open and operating and is now named Sharon Regional Health System. Through the collaborative efforts, hundreds of local jobs were saved and a critical health resource for the region was preserved.
